Manchester United close to sign Atalanta winger

The 18 year old winger is expected to arrive in Old Trafford next month

LONDON: The Red Devils are confident the Atalanta's 18 year old winger, Amad Diallo, will be able to join the team in early January.

On the last deadline day in October United announced that they had reached a £37m agreement for the young winger to move in January, provided that he obtained a work permit.

Although Diallo has only made one appearance for Atalanta this season, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking forward to his quick progress that he will brought to the Old Trafford.
